My Autumn Style is ready!

Yes it's Autumn! And I have craftily planned my style this Autumn, using the classic colours of orange, red and various shades of brown, with boots as this seasons footwear, and leather as a definite must my wardrobe is nearly complete :')

Polyvore Obsession Take 2

Okay, so I signed up on Polyvore and mucked around with it for a bit and finally came up with a few designs, lemme know what you think I tested 3 different things you can do on Polyvore; Celebrity Inspiration, General collage of clothes and patterns, and general artwork, hope you enjoy :)

First for my celebrity inspiration piece I chose to pick Gossip Girl star Blake Lively (only cause that day I had watched Gossip Girl with my friend :P)
I basically just browsed through clothes till I found ones similar to hers and put them all together with a newspaper article for a background and some flowers to show that Blake's look was summery.




And over the next few weeks I'll let you see my other designs ;)

Polyvore Obsession!

My new web craze has to be www.polyvore.com! I found out about it through my friend Lisa when I saw her staring at her screen completely hooked to this creative website.

Basically the idea is to 'mix and match products from your favourite stores' , collage and create works of fashionable art.

Collages such as this Chanel collection (right) can help you organize your wardrobe/wishlist to make sure you look stunning at all times!

Polyvore can also be for your experiments in fashion just mixing and matching and having fun with fashion

Inspiration from celebrities such as Leighton Meester (left) easily organized so you can get your outfit right xoxo gossip girl ;)

Anyway in my next post I'll show you my own creations as I try out Polyvore myself to see how it helps me :)

Makeup for Redheads

Finding makeup if your a natural redhead can be difficult due to naturally fair skin, and to avoid makeup clashing with the colour of your hair therefore it must be done properly. 

Girls Aloud star Nicola Roberts brought out a makeup line for those with fair skin and red hair called 'Dainty Doll' back in 2009 which proved to be a hit in shops around Britain but who needs makeup made especially for that when you can just buy normal makeup but in the correct colours!

Use blusher in shades like this or maybe lighter.

I've found due to my pale skin that I look best with a light pink lip colour with maybe a clear gloss on the top but bright lipsticks can also look good on pale skin. For the light lip colour try MAC Angel Lipstick with a clear gloss over the top (left)

Mascara has to be controlled when you have fair skin and red hair. Wearing too little can look a little shabby but wearing too much can clash with the hair colour and false eyelashes - definite no no. This is how it's meant to be worn, a little more would be fine.

Lily Cole

I must say when I first flicked through Vogue and saw Lily Cole I found myself staring at the page for what seemed like an hour!

We have very similar hair  although when I first discovered her mine had been dyed to a brown due to my dislike for red hair. I then had the urge to go back to red, Lily Cole - return of the redhead I think.


Even supermodel Coco Rocha has tried the red look this year when she stepped out with stunningly bright red hair! Slightly over done perhaps? (Below left)

Lily Cole is a perfect example of how to look good with red hair:
- no overdoing the makeup
- having it looking natural
- red hair is naturally the thickest hair type, so wear it thick!
- and finally, wearing makeup to suit the natural complexion of a red head is good to! (more of this in my next post)
